Customize Your Own Scent!

What’s the Buzz? Customize your own scent at Salud Spa Bar. You can visit them on 943 E. University Blvd, # 165, Tucson, AZ 85719 or http://www.saludspabar.com

Think about all of those celebs that have their own signature perfume or collone out, but why not create your very own custom scent. Salud Spa Bar offers custom perfumes, lotions, body scrubs, hair mist, and oil infusers. Not only is it unique, it's also affordable! Not sure what scent to make come in and have the experts help mix you up something. Oh and did I mention that the perfumes are oil based therefore it lasts longer than traditional perfumes. It also doesn't give you that lightheaded feeling that most perfumes do. If you are obsessed with a celeb's perfume then bring in a sample or just the name, and the experts can try to match it. I've bought 2 custom perfumes, a lotion and a body scrub and I love them all so very much. I will definately head back when I run low.

They sell other beauty items such as: Make-up by Franche and Rosie Jane; Skincare products by Pangea, Nuxe Paris, and Skin; and even products for Men by Billy Jealousy. They also offer “do-it-yourself” spa treatments at their Tucson location. These services include: custom facials and foot soaks; not to mention a make-up application service. I've done it all and I loved it! It’s nice to do this with some friends, but be sure to call ahead if there are more than two of you, 520-326-3298. Gift certificates are also available for someone special.

Don’t just take my word for it, check out their site and read what the press has to say about them.Again, that's Salud Spa Bar! Visit them online at http//:www.SaludSpaBar.com or at their Tucson, AZ location on University Blvd.

Melissa B- You Should Check it Out

The University area is a must see in Tucson. They have cute shops, nice places to eat, and many different types of museums.

If you like coffee- Cafe Luce is amazing & a much better price than Starbucks. The Cereal Box is also a nice place- they have yogurt parfaits, oatmeal, and cereal. All with custom mix-ins. They also have coffee drinks and homemade treats. The just opened up Paradise Bakery, which has salads, soups and sandwiches. They also have yummy desserts. My favorite is the Chicken Walnut Salad Sandwich with Sourdough bread instead of the molasses, but I heard the molasses bread is also really tasty.

And of course, visit Salud- you'll love both the owner, Kelly, and the manager, Lauren. Kelly has a background in business and is a world traveler. She is a very smart lady. Lauren has a background in massage therapy and (aesthetics)skin care. She knows really knows her stuff. She's the one who does the make-up application and is absolutely amazing. They both make the custom perfumes, lotions, and scrubs. And for those who fly in to Tucson, Salud can ship any items if you don't want to risk checking it in on your flight home.

On Fridays, if you buy something on University you can get your parking validated. Saturdays and Sundays have free parking. Check it out, and I hope you enjoy it!

Sounds decadent

My husband and I have been talking about a day trip to Tucson for a while now. This might finally provide the motivation to do it. :)
