As someone with dry, sensitive skin, I'm always torn in winter about what products to use on my face. If I use oil-free moisturizes, my skin cracks within just a few hours. If I put moisturizers with oil on my skin, it's OILY. AND if I try to cover the oil with powder, I'm right back to square one.

However, now I know there is a solution! While browsing at Henri Bendel, I stumbled upon AWAKE's "aqua trans powder" that ACTUALLY moisturizes. Oxymoron? Not quite. I completely feel the moisture within the power even when just a tad is put on my skin. The packaging also comes with an insert that traps the moisture from escaping after being open multiple times. The cap's red top is pretty too and great for the holiday, making it a stellar gift...in my case, for myself!

I don't know how AWAKE's powder works, but it does. Perhaps it's magic dust. Try it yourself. And if you're at Bendel, ask for Irene. She's awesome ; )

While shopping at Henri Bendel a few months ago, I tried a perfume called "Smiley", chemically proven to please one's spirits. The scent was pleasant, but I honestly forgot about the fragrance until recently when my intern seemed down.

I took her nextdoor and picked up each of us a sample of Smiley, in hopes it might cheer her up.

Well, now everywhere I go, both men and women are complimenting my scent...and showing their bright whites.

Do I sound like a commercial? Perhaps. But seriously, check this out. It works!

WWD Beauty Biz featured a new frizz buster this month by Mauricio Ribeiro called Brazilian Blowout. Apparently, this is a "single-application treatment that harnesses a patent-pending chemical found in spray tanning" that makes hair lose "all the frizz"!
