Shoes and Jewels are just synonymous to a girl. When I was younger I was really into sterling silver; partly because I was into this whole "mod" movement and mods never wore gold...I even vowed that I'm not going to ever! But boy was I wrong...I now I love gold! It all started when I saw this movie "The Sweetest Thing" with Cameron Diaz and she had this cute gold swirly earrings and all of a sudden this  obsession came over me! Gold is making a come back! You see it on clothes, Fine China, more and more on contemporary jewelry design, shoes, just name it and you'll see gold on it! When that movie came out about 5+ years ago not only was I obsessing the about the precious metal- I was also obsessing over her earring which i found in Target  most recently. So I guess you can call me a "Fool's Gold"...

It's been a while since I've stepped foot into Zara's (namely in the SF Ctr). To my delight, there were all these ultra feminine flowy floral silk tops and dresses! I immediately became giddy with girliness as I wanted to own every peice of silk chiffon floral blouse that graced their racks! Best of all, it won't break the bank (well in my case it might because I wanted every peice.) So I tried on a couple of blouses and I drew a conclusion, that it's not for everyone. Too much fabric may  look to volominous to someone who is voluptous, so I walked out with nothing. However, I didn't feel defeated; because in the midst of these tough economic times seeing flowy 100% silk tops and dresses was like seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Could this be a sign of things to come? I am hopeful, once you start seeing long luxe flowy fabrics, it usually means times are good. In this case it will start getting better...
