Summer Blockbuster Lineup

Movies.jpg 'Tis the season for much-anticipated summer movie blockbusters to start debuting. Not an avid movie-goer, here are my ratings of how much I'm willing to plop down the $10+ and see a movie on the big screen:
1. May 22nd: Indiana Jones, (7/10). It could go either one way or the other. Kind of weary that Harrison Ford can pull it off but having George Lucas and Steven Spielberg team up seems hopeful and of all movies, this is one to see on a large screen.
2. May 30th: Sex and the City, (10/10). After vowing never to watch the series upon seeing how obsessive my friends were about the show in college, I too became addicted after one very long night in Ireland. I watched almost an entire season in one sitting. No joke. I'll confess- I'm dying to see how the writers turned this TV show into a movie. And what about those photos leaked of Carrie's horrid wedding dress?
3. June 13th: The Happening, (8/10). I like M. Night Shamalayan's movies even if they don't make sense.
4. June 25th: Get Smart, (5/10). Steve Carell is awesome. This could go one way or the other.
5. June 27th: Wanted (7.5/10). Angelina Jolie as a gun-yielding assassin? Not a shocker, but it's couthily befitting. Plus, James McEvoy and Morgan Freeman? Sold.
6. August 8th: Pineapple Express, (1/10). Seth Rogen and James Franco sounds like an interesting combination and their logo of a pineapple with a marijuana leave looks enticing but will definitely wait until VHS.

THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMMM...

Okay, the big kid in me absolutely MUST see IRONMAN!  I'm pretty sure I'll plop down what's necessary to go see S-I-T-C,even if it's just to see the fashions and to behold Chris Noth's smile.  Dark Knight is a must, also.

For the love of the movies!

What about Dark Knight?!

I'll probably see 'em all. And you can't forget the return of Bale, er, I mean, Batman.

Movies...

I don't get to see a lot of movies these days, but as long as I get to see "Sex & the City," and the "Traveling Pants" sequel, I'll be a happy girl.

I'm going to get

sucked into the M Night Shamalayan movie.. I have a love hate relationship with him. I typically trash his film and then am the first person to go see it! Only to sit through the entire film trying to figure out "the twist". Since he case Mark Wallberg (yum) as the lead I don't even think I'll hate on him this movie!
