ah...to live in sin

so the man & i finally did it... the big move-in! the merging of toiletries, closets and (shed a single tear) hearts. one week down & so far so good. getting unpacked & organized is a huge undertaking but we love the new neighborhood (hell's kitchen) and are acclimating to 24/7 togetherness just fine. wish us luck!

Congrats!

My (now) fiance and I moved in together about 2 1/2 years ago and now we are getting married in 6 weeks! For me it was exciting at first, then a bit challenging b/c of our schedules (I didn't get my much needed alone time), but once we worked thru that everything has been great. As long as the lines of communication are open and honest, and you figure out your schedules to have you time, us time, friend time, etc. --everything will work out great! Congrats!

Fantastic!

Agree with all the ladies. My Husband and I moved in together three years in to dating. It was relatively smoothe but there are always a few minor kinks that come up when blending all. Dinner parties are so much fun!

Congrats

Lindsay has good advice. Making sure you have your own schedules (aka lives) is a good rule to abide by period. Killer dinner parties are also key.

a bit of advice from someone

a bit of advice from someone who's been there (we started off living together in a studio-intense-) so i am familiar with some of the do's/donts. my single best piece advice is to just keep your own schedules and do your own things. it's important to still miss eachother-which can get difficult when you live together...best of luck!
