I finally found it! The perfect flat. Looks great with jeans as well as dresses. I can walk all over New York without blisters on my toes or cuts on my ankles. All of this without looking like a hippie or a nurse! Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just not my thing. I got them in crinkley black patent leather, but all of the colors are beautiful. To sum it up: these Sigerson Morrison flats rock.
