DIY: Bridesmaid Revisited Crafty gals who've had to walk down someone else's aisle will want to check out this article on bridesmaid dresses from Blueprint Magazine. It shows you how to make standard 'maid fare more wearable after the big day. Most of them look pretty chic if you're willing to put in the work. I'm diggin' 4 and 5 the most, but 2 looks easiest. I like easy. |

Good tips!
I had a really -- dare I say -- flattering bridesmaid dress for a wedding I was in a few months ago. Unfortch, I had to do some serious alterations so my emerging baby bump could fit into the skirt. It now looks like something Mrs. Roper would wear on Three's Company, and there's no going back at this point. :( However, if it were a year ago, I'd be all over these ideas.

Bravo Jen!
That's one above par bridesmaid dress. I bet your bridesmaids are happy. I know I would be. Very cute!

Recycle the goods
I will definitely pass this link onto my own bridesmaids, very useful. Here's a link to the dresses I chose (in bordeaux): I think they should chop it--it could be a cute mini dress for a holiday cocktail party.
