Fleet are Family An American cousin of mine (that's him on the far left) fronts a band called Fleet Foxes. Hailing from Seattle, they just released an EP which promptly got a glowing review from primo music website Pitchfork. Sun Giant, their five song debut, got an 8.7; the same rating given to Arcade Fire's first full-length album and we all know how that turned out. Take a listen and if you like what you hear consider seeing them when their tour with Portland's Blitzen Trapper comes through your town. I've seen them play a few times and they put on a damn good show. I'm completely biased, but don't let that affect the validity of truth.

Dammit!
No worries, Joy. F.F. are now nesting happily in my iTunes library (the new EP + 'Ragged Wood'), so they'll pop up on my iConcertCal in the future. There's no way I'm missing them next time!01:00 PM
Oh Shish Kabobs!
They played SF six days ago! It was like the tour kick-off performance too! I should of posted about this sooner. My bad :(

Tour?
Great sound, and they dig Beach House, too? I'm sold! Now all they need to do is swing by S.F. on tour and deliver me to foxy music bliss.

Thanks for the tip!
I'm always up for new music, so I can't wait to listen. I saw they aren't coming here anytime soon. They're going to Grinell, Iowa, but not Phoenix. Go figure.
