About MeFrom San Francisco by way of Kansas, Quit job as sales rep when I turned 40 in 2001 so I could go to school at U.C. Berkeley for TESL credential and then went to Hawaii, Chile and now in Spain to teach English. Got tired of teaching so did other things for my company here in Madrid, Vaughan Systems. Now I have a very popular radio program on Vaughan Radio called Women on the Rise - an interview show (not just with women anymore). We have 250,000 listeners and I meet the most fantastic people, many who are now my best friends here. I also am lucky in that I work as an editor when I'm not doing the radio and I get to work from home....life is good here! I heard about Splendora from...Paula Owen Viola, international makeup artist extraordinare!I'm Listening ToMichal Buble, Five for Fighting, Wild Cherry, The Lighthouse Family, Blackeye PeasI'm WatchingDon't watch TV, only internet videos.I'm ReadingNothing at the moment. It's probably fake.I'm Currently Obsessing AboutHow to find a worthy man who isn't a pushover or a player..here in Madrid. Style Icon(s)no icons, just real friends of mine here who really know how to dress themselves. TESOL rocks...
Kathleenie,
I just started teaching ESL, in NYC. I am probably going to Thailand in the fall. I love Spain and would love to hear anything about the ESL world there.
I assume you need an EU passport to teach there?
I just joined this thing - so working on my profile at the moment.
Hasta pronto,
Michele
