How to DRESS.

We all have
heard the adage, "a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear", but
in my case it is a legitimate dilemma, because while I have a closet full of
formal attire, I lack great daytime apparel. I shop and am always drawn to some
fabulously chic dress that I have no need for. But, instead of concerning
myself with such minute details, I buy the dress and pray that one day soon I
will be in dire need of a floor length vintage bedazzled gown (my description
fails to give this dress justice, it is truly spectacular). So recently in
attempts to change my ways I have been scouring my favorite magazines, fashion
blogs and sidewalks to get inspired and learn how to dress down and still look
put together and innovative. (Please note, I do not advise copying others
style, but I need to start my daytime dressing education somewhere). Hopefully
after my self-inflicted fashion therapy instead of purchasing the silk chiffon
Phillip Lim dress I am lusting after, I will opt to buy the more conventional
sweater, top or trousers. On second thought, maybe I should just begin to buy
more informal dresses.
