Lahb-sta / meaty-juicy-delicious

"How was the L.O.V.E... meaty, juicy and delicious (as were the lobsters)?" - Melissa Bertolino, wearing red lipstick, inquired on my Facebook Wall as soon as I got back from the Cape Cod road trip... Well ladies, not quite as meaty, to be honest, but juicy of course; you know me. :-)

It was so weird and instructive to spend that much time outside of the city, in the middle of the week with a bunch of Wall Street dudes in shock (or not) and their fantastic, charming (yet shopping-addict) wives; couples from NYC, but also kids from Massachusets and models from all around the world :-).

And of course, the one I chose to be my roommate for the duration of the trip who, thanks to my friend Heather's 'would you rather be right or happy theory,' ended up behaving quite well in my company, AND he was wearing a suit!!!

I ate scallops covered with bacon hors d'oeuvres; stole white chocolate sand dollars and rediscovered sugar free Twizzlers and Arnold Palmers (so delicious).
