Tales of sequins and wonderbras

This afternoon, I had the fun & privilege of working with the Fashion Informer and her fabulous team on my first ever fashion photoshoot... as a model. Oh yeah ladies, smokey eyes and curly hair & all the bling. 10K worth of accessories and a killer sequin top. Just my luck - the day started with a 'Carrie Bradshaw meets sharky' moment... Walking with my suitcase full of clothes, sweating last night's too many beers on my way to the photog studio in the East Village, I realized I FORGOT to wear - or even bring - a bra. Little moment of anxiety here. We're talking about a shiny garment and a 34C... Not that I have unperky ones, but hey - I can't rock a profile shot with the same vampy confidence without a little support. Thank god, everything I needed was eventually found on location. Later on, not very well trained to be the interviewed as opposed to the reporter, I was out of words when invited by the FI to describe my personal style. So much easier to talk about somebody else, it always seems. I ended up kind of ackwardly mentioning ghetto future, my domain name (I'm such a geek), and I think some blah about Glam Rock and I love Neon. I could use a publicist and a PA you might say. But in this case, I had the best stylists in Manhattan - not to mention the beautiful Kristina à la caméra - and the results are absofreakinglutely fantastic. Can't wait for y'all to see!

You don't need one of those sweetie!!!! Unless she is your best friend then yes 'cause she'll take all the crap and you can laugh at your clients and the media together. Post the pics when published!
