Hot Fun In the Summertime

I can't say I am a big fan of the heat these days.  As a kid there were so many ways to cool down...swimming, playing in sprinklers, shooting water guns and dodging water ballons.  Now that I am grown, what am I doing this fine Sunday afternoon?  I am doing laundry.  I guess everyone else in my building decided it's too hot to wash clothes so the laundry room is free for me!  The cool thing is that the husband and the kid are out and about so I can watch "The Skeleton Key" (again) while I work.  It's a movie I enjoy because it's just scary enough with an unexpected ending and it's set in one of my favorite cities, New Orleans.  In addition, I am off of work for the next few days so I don't have the Sunday evening blues.  Therefore, I can bear the heat, do my laundry, and watch my movie without the ominous feeling that I am running out of time.
