I have to admit that I love shopping at Walgreens. In fact, when I was living in Manhattan, I basically did my grocery shopping at the 58th/Madison Duane Reade (East Coasters Walgreens).  Now, happily in SF, I visit Walgreens weekly.  I spend at least half an hour looking for things that I don't really need.  I am thrilled to learn that Walgreens is launching an apparel brand today called Casual Gear that consists of T-shirts, hoodies, yoga pants and quilted vests. The prices range from $6.99 to $14.99.  I am so there.

UnderConsideration is truly a chivalrous site. A pair of Prada prescription reading glasses were found this morning at Prospect Park West in Brooklyn. In hopes of finding the true owner, UnderConsideration has posted details and pictures on their site. Wow, what a Good Friday!

Who would think that innocent popcorn could cause lung disease?  Microwave popcorn has always been my favorite movie companion and office break snack however, recent studies show that the butter flavor added in some brands contain a toxic chemical that causes lung disease. 

It just goes to show that it is definitely safer to pop your own popcorn and just use real butter!

Even though we are in the middle of London Fashion Week, I am convinced the most exciting collection has been shown already by Gareth Pugh.  As a trained fashion creatrice myself, Pugh's collections remind me of Galliano's first collections before Paris and all the famous fashion houses.  His background in costume design add tremendously to the innovative construction and original design, as seen here.  He is a young designer with a few years showing at London Fashion Week , yet he is groundbreaking.  Pugh is here to stay and over time he will appeal to the masses, just like Galliano.
