Way to go Walgreens!I have to admit that I love shopping at Walgreens. In fact, when I was living in Manhattan, I basically did my grocery shopping at the 58th/Madison Duane Reade (East Coasters Walgreens). Now, happily in SF, I visit Walgreens weekly. I spend at least half an hour looking for things that I don't really need. I am thrilled to learn that Walgreens is launching an apparel brand today called Casual Gear that consists of T-shirts, hoodies, yoga pants and quilted vests. The prices range from $6.99 to $14.99. I am so there.

Walgreens v. Long's Drugs
I'm partial to Long's Drugs mainly because that is where I had my first job as a cashier. Besides selling everything you could ever need, the store in Moraga actually has a pretty good wine selection and the store in North Oakland has a Top Dog stand in it!

a suburb of Detroit, MI. I love Walgreen's too! I used to live right across the street from one. Oh, Bliss. But since I've moved, and don't have a car yet, its hard for me to get to it (I live about a mile away). Now I live across the street from the most expensive drug store on the planet, STUPID RITE-AID! Oh, excuse me for yelling. Studpid Rite-Aid...
