Your comment on my wedding video made me crack up! I wish he had done something cheesey like that so at least I'd have something to laugh about in the video. Yeah, it's a total bummer but at least we have great photos and I'm sure we'll be looking at those more anyway.

Thanks for checking in on me Melissa B! I haven't been around these parts as much as I've wanted to be. My day job is helping produce a performing arts festival and while everyone slows down for Christmas, we gear up for a major production. Eek. Great tip on the cheap cashmere. I will def have to swing by soon. Last year I got a great basic grey cashmere v-nect sweater from Uniqlo (in NYC) for $60!

Thanks for the wake up call, Melissa. You kindly responded to my missive about moving to a small town from Daytona. I was venting just to vent but having someone read about it who wasn't my close personal friend just agreeing with me, who could objectively look at the situation, opened my eyes. A fabulous life is all around me but I'm finding reasons not to embrace it. I live seventy footsteps from the lake, have a jetski and don't have to work. What on earth is my problem. It's not even EASIER to be complacent. It takes negative energy to be this way. Enough of it, I say! Thanks so much. Happy baby-birthing!
