Sexless in the City

It seems with the end of Sex and the City, came the end of the era of (girl) friends, fashion and fun.  Maybe it's because of these rain-soaked days we've been hiding at home or speedily sloshing in and out of places, but the thrill is gone.  I miss the unapologetic indulgence Sex and the City mainstreamed in our lives; spending the day shopping for tippy-toed shoes you shouldn't afford, flirting shamelessly with men, women or whatever flavor-of-the-moment, laughing with girlfriends over stiff cocktails at trendy restaurants, kissing and telling, and reveling in all of life's goodness...especially the naughty parts!  :)  It seems that the pulse is slowing; throbbing men, palpitation inducing style/designs, and surging moments of life are now blips on the radar.  We are now fortified by the doldrums of watching the daily self-destruction of celebrities, existing; not engaging, and waiting for a movement, a moment, a maven to resuscitate all that is style, revive girls night out & shameless flirting and revitalize the celebration of being a woman.

Maybe we need a spark of Carrie to re-ignite our inner icon, the warmth of Charlotte to rekindle and nurture our frienships, a little glint of Miranda to remind us of our strength and fire and a humping, heapful of Samantha to set our bodies and our boudoir's ablaze?!

Looking Forward!

Ditto. Although my favorite episodes dealt with not so much sex (Samantha seemed a bit much at times) I still enjoyed the guilty pleasure of fawning over the fashions...and the shoes...oh the shoes! I'm pretty sure the movie won't let us down.
