"The Make-up Club"

This is a new idea I had the other day to Save the World through Beauty...

"The Make-Up Club" . . . .Faces of the Future with Paula Owen, Professional Make-Up Artist

I designed this after school program for students who are interested in learning about make-up, skincare, and personal image.  It will be an environment for the participants to learn first-hand knowledge from a professional make-up artist with over 25 years of experience.  (Guess Who?)

My intention is to create an informal atmosphere  where ideas are exchanged and the girls can discover  what it means to bring out their personal "best."  My numerous contacts throughout the beauty industry have expressed interest in contributing their expertise, experience, and perspective.  The media often presents an unobtainable  illusion of what we should look like, but I want to shed light on the "business of beauty" and help young women gain self-esteem and empowerment through my stories and experiences.

 This will be  a fun class where all can be free to experiment, ask questions, explore,  enjoy girl talk and have a whole lot of fun with beauty.
