Paula Reporting from London Fashion Week, part 2 The rest of the afternoon was spent walking through Bond Street , up to Oxford St. and then on to my favorite: Harvey Nichols: The Cosmetic Department. I made Jenny buy the Sisley "Hydra-Flash" (this cream is like homeopathic medicine for hydrating your skin) and I purchased my favorite loose powder of all time by Laura Mercier (I've heard it contains cashmere in the formulation-certainly feels like it!). The end of my first day in London was like icing on a cake.... we went to a SGI Buddhist meeting in South Kensington/Chelsea and spoke about the importance of knowing that we all have the power to transform ourselves, exactly as we are, (warts, cellulite and all), to create a Buddha's land wherever we are, it's not somewhere else, or in the future. I have decided to own my Buddhahood, become a "Supreme Optimist" and have no FEAR of the future. besos from LONDON, Paula XXXX |
