Yeah...
That's true. Verizon was a pain in the butt when it came to that. So much so, that I got back a little money froma class action lawsuit leveled at Asurion, Verizon's insurance company. It seems they were billing refurbished phones as new, and enough people complained where they had to shell out some do-re-mi. It was a nominal check, but it was still money in the pocket.
