Hi Ladies: 

It's been a month since my last post and I feel so disconnected.  There are so many social networks out there between Myspace, Twitter and Facebook, its hard to keep up.  I love Splendora because I feel connected with the ladies and I've been a fan for a while now.   This past month I finally put the blog up www.mavensociety.blogspot.com and took care of my forever to-do's.  My co-blogger Michelle just moved to Atlanta so she will be blogging on the site from the eastcoast now.  She can keep me up to date on the fashion scene from the south.

Life as it is, is still what it is...good in everyway. 

With numerous calls to T-Mobile regarding my phone, they will be sending me a new (refurbished) phone.  I decided to upgrade to the BB Curve because this will be my 3rd replacement.  I am now connected!

Hello:

I am trying to contact customer service regarding my cell phone, I thought you were open 24 hours per technical support. It is currently 10:24 pm PST. This is in reference to cell phone # {###-###} - blackberry pearl.

For the past 2 weeks my #2 button has not been working. I called two times to get assistance. The first time I called I was told to call from another phone which was inconvenient since I was at work. The best time to do technical service for me is 9pm PST due to my work schedule, especially if I'm on the phone for 30 minutes. The second time I called I was transferred to technical support (could not understand a word he said) and he wanted to do a hard reset, meaning he wanted to erase everything on my phone. I have tons of numbers and passwords on my phone and since I have a MAC computer the CD that came with the pearl is not compatible to back-up of data. Can you just send me a replacement phone so I can conduct business instead of getting the run around. I can't dial any numbers with a 2 nor a text message with a Y or T. Please help.

Today I was scheduled to have dental surgery (3 wisdom teeth removed). I have been anticipating this for a while now and I guess I worked myself up too much. The Dr. decided not to do the surgery because my pressure was too high. I guess I was really nervous and scared. They gave me some medicine to calm me down and it was still high. So he wants me to go to my PCP to see if I have high blood pressure and once I have been cleared I can reschedule my appointment.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! Ok, yes as an African American and my chances are higher but all I wanted to do is get the procedure over. Being denied a procedure because of my heart really bothered me. I started thinking about my health in a totally different perspective. I'm a mom with a busy job and life and I always put everything first.. but now I need to take care of myself and stop STRESSING! What an eye opener.

Every year I have the same problem, trying to figure out which style of calendar to use for the new year.  Currently I use Outlook at work and invite myself to the meeting invitation and it automatically updates my BB via google calendar.  However,  I am a paper girl and I love doodling and writing. 

This year I bought two calendars 1) Planner Pad 2) Kate Spade calendar.  I love the planner pad because I was able to write various lists for all my to-dos.  I loved Kate because it was so cute and girly.

What type of calendaring system do you use?

The holidays are here again and my boyfriend and I usually start writing our wish lists.  It's amazing how everything is so electronic these days.  I need an upgrade on my ipod but the iphone touch is pretty cool.  I could use XM in the car and a new laptop bag.  I have tons of books on my wish list @ amazon.com but most of all I could always add more jewerly to the collection.  What about you?

I experience my first hot yoga class this weekend.  It has VERY hot and I sweated in places I never sweated before.  I did get a little light headed but aftewards my body felt wonderful!  www.huntingtonbeachhotyoga.com
