22Today I turned 22 years old. I know to many this seems so young... you're probably reading this thinking, "she's still such a baby!" But I feel like 22 is huge. This is the year I'm going to graduate from college, move out of LA, get a job, and start life in the "real world." 22 marks the end of frat parties, midterm papers, my steady diet of Special K, and living off of monthly checks from Dad. I'm so excited to enter the world of real adulthood, but am I mature enough? Am I ready? My fabulous Splendora sisters, any advice or pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! PS Happy birthday Gina! Libras rule. |

Happy Birthday!
22 is an exciting year because of all the changes that occur. Just remember that sometimes the things you think you want now might change. Your mid-twenties are all about finding yourself so don't beat yourself up if you don't have an exact plan. Most people need to have a go at different things before deciding what they really want to do. When I was 22 I graduated, stuck around SB for summer because I didn't want college life to end, then moved home to get a 'real' job which I hated, 2 months later abruptly moved to LA, worked there for 8 months and then took off to Japan for a year. Just stay true to yourself and be open to opportunities that come your way. Happy birthday! xo jen

Happy 22 Sarah!
I loved loved loved being 22. It really is a transition year, and you should embrace every minute of it, even if you will probably keep on eating Special K for a little while. ;-)
I look forward to meeting you and taking you out next time I'm in LA. Lots of kisses!
