...this is what a 36-year-old mother can look like!  I stayed with my workout program, which started as a New Year's resolution.  I've never looked this good in MY LIFE!  If your body is headed anywhere except FABULOUS get your sneakers on and GO.  You'll be glad you did...I hope this inspires someone out there.

This is my very own recipe for "morning eyes"

What you will need:

Your favorite eye cream  (I recommend Clinique All About Eyes, or Oil of Olay Regenerist Eye)

An ice cube or glass of ice water.

Place your ring finger on the icecube or in ice water for up to one minute.  Dry finger with a towel and apply eyecream with the iced fingertip.  Watch the difference.  Works especially well the morning after a night of drinking!

boy:  Oh...I almost forgot, what are you going to wear today for free dress?

girl:  It's a surprise!  Girls never tell what they are going to wear.

boy:  why not

girl:  clothes are a girl's passion and pride, they have to protect them and then unleash their outfit.  it is an art form.

boy:  i am crying. not.

My daughter has just been asked by her "crush" to be "bf-gf".  I think I'm freaking out...yet, this is so fascinating!  It's like, this is how it ALL starts...and it's all coming back to me now.  Reminds me of the summer of 1985 in Downers Grove, Illinois--scoping out the "massive babes" at the Dairy Queen with my bff.  We wore these oversized candy-stripe cotton blouses cinched with big wide patent belts and tried to paint our nails with black and white polka-dots.  We were all not-so-secretly in LOVE with John Taylor from Duran Duran  *sigh*

Tomorrow Thea has an audition for some Cartoon Network live-action movie for tv.  The casting director is Liz Paulson.  I thought she cast commercials.  It will be interesting.  Also, Thea has a crush!  And he likes her back!  I'm freaking out!  She does have good taste because he's smart and cute AND nice.  Maybe they start out that way before we get to them...???

A million things are occurring today.  First, my daughter is officially 10 and a half!  She is missing school this morning so she can be coached for a producer's session for Parker Posey's new television pilot, "  The Return of Jezebel James".  And, if that isn't enough, my commercial agent called so we have to rush over to a commercial call for bottled water somewhere.  Meaning:  I have to be supermommy AND look like it, too!  Ugh!  I need my own hair and makeup department!  AND, if THAT"S NOT ENOUGH, Miss Smarty-pants has won the science fair, SO we have to rush back to her school to attend assembly before we are OFF to Paramount for her producer's session.  I will survive...I will survive...I will survive...

Spent all weekend outside.  My face is feeling a little warm still--probably too much sun!  Went wine tasting and bought a Sauterne, my new fave dessert wine.  Almost finished with the garden...most of my delphiniums are finally blooming...

Have an audition for Kia tomorrow.  Would rather be in my garden, though.
