2008--or the year of living responsibly.Well, it has happened. I'm in escrow. While the excitement of my first home, (two bedroom, two bath condo in Orange county) is palpable, I am a little freaked at how my life is going to change dramatically. The decrease of disposable income is going to be the biggest change. Seriously, how can I go from cocktails and concerts to homecooking and crafts? the challenge will be to find the balance. Seriously, I can't give up John Mayer 3-4 times a year! Plus, I am never home now, but maybe that is because I don't like living with 3 adolescent (minded) guys. (they do cook a mean prime rib though!) I guess I will be putting all of that awesome tupperware to use that I bought from a drag queen! Melissa B, I am minutes away from the airport, with plenty of room for a playpen so you guys will have to come and visit. I know Baby B is too young for Dland, but it is only 8 miles away:0)

Hooray, it's finally happening! If anyone can make the segue from cocktails to crafts, it's you. Come to think of it, if anyone can score free cocktails to supplement the lack of disposable income, it's you. I'm so excited for you! And with the proximity to South Coast Plaza, you know I'll be there. I promise not to bring "The Holiday."
