An eventful 8 days! So - I've had the most eventful 8 days of my LIFE! Last week, I: 1. celebrated Labor Day (great - let's be happy capitalists) 2. got sick 3. thought I was DYING, I got so sick 4. managed to get 5 bands for this weekend's main stage 5. handled disgruntled emails from an unnamed member of the PQNA 6. rushed to the hospital after my sister saved my mother's life from SHRIMP! 7. watched my nephew 8. found out my friend is in a band that's just now blowing up 9. went to the Black Family Reunion on the Mall and saw En Vogue (yes, you heard me right - they still perform this side of 1997) 10. sublet my place 11. got the annexed art performance approved by the Mayor's office 12. got our AOF artists paid 13. watched, on pins and needles, as Roger Federer beat Djokovic in 3 sets (and looked HOTTT doing it) 14. went to a luncheon with my crush of all crushes! 15. have finalized my plans to move to NYC from now until December 16. Managed to finally get a hold of someone at Bergdorf's who would tell me what number I am on the waiting list for Peter Som's new lip color (yes...I'm that pressed for a perfectly kissable pout!) and, quite honestly, I'm nervous about my chances of making the cut off! 17. and...here's the kicker...have begun the process of starting my PR/Events & Marketing firm (expect our first major event to be held at Mayorga's in Tivoli)
Trust me - once Arts on Foot is over (this Saturday - come out and enjoy the festivities!!!), I will have plenty to post. I'm moving to NYC next week, and should have some down time to post more on all of these life changing events. |
