Why would it be necessary for an all powerful god to sacrifice his son so that we could go to heaven, when the god is all powerful in the first place? I'm not making light of this. I've never really thought much about it, and it just hit me this week what a fundamental problem that is, and not just a problem with faith.

What's in Your Closet?

Not nearly enough good clothes - I've worked six-seven days a week for the last five years, and had no time (and frequently no money) for clothes. I love clothes, and at this point, all that's left is stuff I love and can't part with. (Everything else wore out.)

Copper-colored stacked-heal mary janes; Frye distressed leather boots; Dansko clogs: black leather; green embossed fabric. A whole bunch of dress shoes I cannot wear.

Lots of T-shirts, knit shirts with my shop's logo screen-printed on them.

Low-slung jeans (I'm long waisted - only low-riders will fit me without hurting) in denim and leather.

A pink suit with big cabbage roses in white and burgandy on it - looks so much better than it sounds - and the jacket is thigh-length. Wear it with high-heeled pink suede Mary Janes.

Some awful fleecy things that act like Jackets. Hideous and frumpy and I should burn them this afternoon. But I won't.

4-Dozen pairs of panties that no grown woman should have in her possession: stripes, polka dots, puppies, flowers, low-riders, etc. I air dry all my clothes, and on laundry day, the drying rack looks like an explosion in the candy store.
