    **MOURNING AALIYAH **

The world says farewell to the sweet songstress whose funeral was held today in Manhattan.

    Image **PAPARAZZI, DON'T POACH**

It must be good to be the most famous woman in the world except when a petty photographer sells pre-Princess pictures of you to a New York sex-cessory company, who then manufactures and markets condoms with your face on the packet, against your will.

    JOURNAL ENTRY

**LABOR FOR YOUR DAY IN THE SUN **

Labor Day is on Monday. Can you believe it? Another summer down the tubes. Time to pack away all those white shoes (as if!) and figure out where you put your cashmere turtle necks. If you were thinking about taking it easy this weekend--having a quiet dinner with friends, dropping in on your Uncle Bob's BBQ potluck--think again!

This is your last 'real' summer weekend. You won't have another three day break until Thanksgiving. Now is not the time to lay idle. Now is the time to get out that PDA or Daily Planner and start filling in each and every time slot.

Don't know what to do? Here's a glimpse of one day in my weekend schedule:
    ------------------------------------

    4p - Shoe shopping w. sister
    5p- Blowdry

12a- Fashionably late arrival to black tie fundraiser
