Some days are good. Some days are bad. And some days you feel so deliriously happy that you have to do a little dance and raise your arms in V formation to celebrate your good fortune. This is how Splendora Chief, Gina Pell, felt when she received an email this morning from the princess, the legend, the profoundly talented Diane Von Furstenberg ...

PINKY SWEAR
Now that the month-long bender otherwise known as the Simple Life just wrapped their 2nd season, the girls are back in LA formally subjecting the public to look at Nick Carter and seriously bad hair extensions. Here we see the girls with a pink blanketed cow in tow at their wrap party...it's so totally bizarre that there is no funny zinger that can compete with the real image that is right here before your eyes. And in other pink related news, it's been alleged that David Beckham bought La Lopez wannabe sticky Vicky a million dollar pink diamond honker for her b-day. This whopper of a ring may be looked at as some kind of sly apology for all of those nasty rumors circulating that Becks boffed his former personal assistant- we bet that she was employee of the month.

HEY MISS OKLAHOMA, YOU'RE FIRED!
In recent years the ditzy beauty queen stereotype has been bucked by sleeker pageant babes who have something halfway intelligent to say (we actually recall a contestant's remarkably ponderous answer to a pat question, which eluded to her chagrin for American foreign policy). During last Sunday's Miss USA pageant, however, Miss Oklahoma's Lindsay Hill succeeded in setting the pageant discourse back about 50 years. Her most scintillating answer to one of the questions was "I don't know, that's hard! (smile, sigh)." When asked which living person she would most like to have a dinner date with her reply was "(giggle), ummm...Justin Timberlake, I think that he could show me a few dance moves." And when the hard hitting questions came her way regarding what type of career she sees herself pursuing she answered, "To work as a V.J. on MTV." The sad thing is, she'd not only be perfect for the job, she'd probably also get her own TV show, record contract, and guest appearance on "The Apprentice."
