    THE DIVORCE MEISTER

Image Looks like another Vegas bride is teetering her way down the halls of annulment. Nicky was just not ready to serve as a wife to husband (the) Todd Meister. When the 21 year-old looked into the gleam of her 12-carat honker, the idea of sleep deprivation from a night out doing too many shots of Hpnotiq was way better than the thought of being tired from taking care of a wee-baby Meister. She cold-dissed old baldy and has since hopped back up on the banquettes. Speaking of another fickle tressed missus, Brit is at the opposite end of the spectrum going whole hog with this Mama Federline thing. She wants to retire, have babies, and eat KFC- simply throwing those hair extensions and vinyl catsuits out the door. Kevin left Shar Jackson to be with superstar Spears, not the Cheeto eating mess that she has become. Nicky may have played this one right, getting out before she was all washed up with a bottle of White Zin on the nightstand.

SHUT IT UP TUESDAY OCTOBER 19

Image If women shut their purses and didn't shop for a day, would the economy suffer? The idea gets tested on Oct. 19 by 85 Broads, a networking group founded in 1999. 85 Broads is asking its 4,000-plus members in 450 companies, colleges, and B-schools not to spend that day. Hanson says the "buycott" will show the gap between women's purchasing power and their underrepresentation in boardrooms and executive suites. On 10/19, leave your checkbook and credit cards at home as a symbolic gesture that we no longer "buy" the glacial pace of change for working women in America. Instead of shopping, go for a walk in the park, write a letter to a friend, enjoy a museum, or help someone in need. Mark your calendars and tell your friends.
