    Darlings,

We here at Splendora love to give. And in an effort to be a holiday season harbinger, we are pleased to gift BDB shopper and longtime Splendora lovely Nicqui Hunt a special Benefit Cosmetics traincase chock full of maquillage. Be safe trick or treating.

    Spa Day LA & SF

Image SPA DAY LA & SF is a one-day pamper-yourself fundraising event that benefits Aid For AIDS. On November 17, Angelenos and Bay Area pamperers take to the massage or facial tables at scores of the best spas and high-end salons. Participating local spas contribute 20% percent of their day's services and gift certificate revenues to Project Open Hand and Aid For AIDS. Check out the fabulous destination-spa grand prize raffles which will encourage you spa-goers to make those extra individual contributions for the chance to win big again (and get pampered even more!). Book your appointments ASAP & go to Spa Day's Website for info.

    Bay Area participants include:
Bella Nails, BellaPelle Skin Studio, International Orange, Lori Anderson Skincare, Marilyn Jaeger Skincare, Pacific Heights Skincare, True Body Wraps, Tea Garden Springs

    THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Image Engagement season has descended upon the female age bracket of 26-34 like Kirstie Alley at an all you can eat buffet (which is perfectly ok because we would be right behind her in the biscuit line.) Speaking of, two of Splendora's swingin' employees recently got betrothed thus forcing them into a year of wedding planning servitude while seated at desks less than 2 feet apart (cue "Dueling Banjos.") While we whittle their waists and try to perfect the swanlike look as to appear as a Paltrow-esqe apparition on our wedding day(s), we were not surprised to find out that our favorite sophisticated lady GP was chosen as the spokesperson for a line of sparklers from diamonder Damiani. But, the interesting part of this endorsement is that Paltrow's ex-fiancee Brad Pitt is also a spokesperson-designer for Damiani's D-Side line. Clearly, the ex-fiancee moratoriaum has been lifted by Chris and Jen.

    Re-Engaged
