What to DVD: Bleu

If you're not familiar with Krzysztof Kieslowski's Trois Couleurs trilogy, I would highly suggest renting Bleu, the first film in the series. Juliette Binoche gives one of her best performances as Julie, a woman dealing with the aftermath of a car crash that claimed her husband and daughter's lives. The film, and the haunting symphony that punctuates its emotional peaks, will stay with you for days afterward.
