Not that I was dying to try these before, but as a true beauty junkie I had to check out eyelash extensions and I'm glad I did. Did they make my eyes POP or what? Uptown girl (www.uptowngirlnyc.com) are the extension specialists in NYC for eyelashes and locks. Courtney Yorio is a true pro (and works on celebs, TV and other notables here) and is just the sweetest person alive. She left me feeling like Bambi's sister! I got numerous compliments on my eyes and I didn't have to bother with messy mascara for 6 weeks! I'm hooked.

Dashing Diva Nail Salons
Based in New York mostly, these fun and affordable nail salons are the best place to go with the girls before hitting the town. Every Thursday and Friday night from 5-9pm they serve free cosmos to everyone - very Sex in the City! Best nail color shade is "Chelsea in the Buff" for an adorable neutral/pink shade or "Dark Tempest" for a deep burgundy that looks great on the toes. The Pink Pedicure lounge is where you can chiill on a pink banquet with pillows while getting one of their heavenly seasonal pedicures. Right now they have the delicious Harvest Wine Pedicure that has a chardonnay sugar scrub, a merlot fizzing foot bath and a pumpkin foot masque - all with a free glass of wine! YUM. Therapy Systems makeup
This new makeup line (sells online mostly) has the silkiest mineral powder foundations and blushes. The are finely milled and just feel great on the skin and has the perfect shade for most skin tones. Great packaging too!
